Subject: [BirdsCaribbean] Caribbean birds featured in ZiNG magazine!

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with ZiNG – Liat Airline’s in-flight magazine to do a regular bird conservation page (called Caribbean Birdwatch) in the magazine. The first page was published in the ZiNG Spring 2010 issue – please see attached – maybe someone of you that fly on Liat have already seen it! The page will feature short nuggets of information on topics like: Bird of the Issue, Feathered Fact, Project Watch, Dates for the Diary, and How to Become a Birder.

This is a great opportunity to promote the conservation, study and general appreciation of the beautiful birds in the Caribbean. Please let us know if you have ideas for future editions of this page (e.g., birds and conservation projects to feature) and if you would like to us help with the writing of this quarterly page – we welcome your help and input!

Many thanks to writer James Fuller for this idea and connecting us with ZiNG’s editor, Jeanette Baker.

Best wishes,

– Lisa

p.s. The ZiNG pages will also be available for download and viewing on our website (links from News and Publications pages). Zing can also be viewed at:http://www.zingmag.net/index.php/eMagazine.html
