Data Visualization: An Essential Skill for the 21st Century
The only way that we’re going to be able to cope with the tera-bytes (and up) of data that are now accessible to anyone with a laptop is to design and apply better data visualization tools. The source of all wisdom on this in the latter 20th century has been the trio of marvelous and inspirational manuals/bibles by Edward Tufte <www.edwardtufte.com/tufte >.
