Global Perspectives on Biodiversity
The report presented below reports on global survey results from a coordinated global data collection effort held on September 15th, 2012, in advance of the 11th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, held in Hyderabad, India from the 8th to the 19th of October, 2012.
There are interesting differences between the views of respondents in developed versus developing countries, with those in developing countries apparently more aware of, and sympathetic to pro-biodiversity conservation policies and practices.
